“You may have heard about Google AR objects, in which you can see in augmented reality using Android or iPhone. Now, you can view your favorite athletes from the Tokyo Olympic games 2021 in AR. You can bring them to your living space and even add them to your photos. All you need is an Android or iPhone that supports ARCore to see them.
1. Open the Google Search app on your phone and search Olympics (or name of the athlete).
2. Scroll down until you see Athletes in 3D. Here you can see all available athletes, their details, and View in 3D button.
4. It will open the athlete in your camera viewfinder.
5. Point your phone downwards and move it around to place the athlete in your place.
6. Now, tap on the View actual size option or pinch or zoon to make the person on a real-life scale.
7. If you want to take photos, tap on the camera button.” -Techtrickz
